How To Stay Fit For Life With The 80/ 20 Diet

I follow what I call the 80/20 diet. I make 80 percent of everything I eat geared toward my fitness and health and make the other 20 percent whatever I want based on mood or craving. I have whatever I want and never think twice about it. If I overindulge, I clean it up to 90/10 and increase my activity level until I’m back where I want to be. Some people would call those cheat meals, but I think “cheat” has a negative connotation whereas there is nothing wrong with enjoying foods that are less healthy in moderation. Your overall diet is the important thing. Not so much the individual make-up of each morsel of food you put in your mouth. Enjoy your life and have what you want. Otherwise, what’s all the hard work for anyway?
