It’s a way of life.

My training philosophy is that optimal fitness is achieved through balance. I have broken overall fitness into 5 categories. When all of the  parts are equal, each part compliments the whole, while nothing inhibits the other. This is how you get the Complete Physique.

Here is what you get from my services, concerning each of the 5 parts

Strength - You will receive multiple custom strength training programs designed for your current fitness level. I will teach you proper lifting techniques in a wide range of exercises so you will safely get the most benefit from each with the least risk of injury.

Balance/ Core Conditioning - This will result in increased balance and internal core strength (Less chance of injury, Less chronic pain, Easier daily activities)

Sport Specific Training (If applicable) - Drills include footwork/ agility, strength exercises specific for individual sport to increase performance, conditioning exercises which increase endurance so quality of play improves and lasts longer.

Primary strength goals as your trainer

·Increase strength/ muscle tone
·Education of theory and technique
·Integration of all muscle groups to safely use body as one unit

Cardiovascular - Individualized progressive cardiovascular routine. We will pick the activities together, you will complete them on your own and record the progress in your own journal. We will review and adjust this on a weekly basis.

Primary cardio goals as your trainer
·Decrease body fat
· Increase performance in aerobic activities with decreased effort
·Increase endurance

Flexibility - Comprehensive full body flexibility routine. I will teach you when and how to stretch properly. You will stretch the appropriate muscle groups between strength training sets to maximize your time and results. Stretching is often a neglected part of a fitness program but is responsible for decreased chronic pain (coupled with strength training), postural realignment, and decreased chance of injury/ strain. Plus it feels good too.

Primary flexibility goals as your trainer
·Postural realignment
·Decrease chronic pain
·Achieve optimal resting length balance of all muscle groups

Nutrition - Together we will find a nutritional program that will be maintainable over a long-term basis. I do not advocate denying yourself any of your favorite foods but instead I recommend incorporating a healthy pattern of eating that will support your fitness goals while still realistically fitting into your existing lifestyle.

Primary nutrition goals as your trainer
·Educate you on basic principles of nutrition
·Cultivate healthy pattern of eating you can use for life
·Custom nutritional plan.

Recovery - The condition known as overtraining is when the body is broken down from exercise at a rate faster than it can repair itself. In order to gain from a fitness program, the body must heal/ repair itself to a level it was at before training, plus some more in order to compensate to an increased workload. It achieves this through proper rest and nutrition. We will monitor progress and signs of overtraining to ensure you are not put into this state and your fitness gains continue on a steady basis.          See Articles for more information.

Primary recovery goals as your trainer

·Educate you on proper workload/ training schedule
·Ensure you rest/ recover from training to ensure maximum gains from fitness program
·Avoid overtraining which can increase chance of injury and decrease gains from the program
